synchronicity
Howdy,
Well, this is my first post here (and I hope it's cool that I am here!)
The past few weeks, I've been experiencing synchronicity or strange coincidences. Perhaps there is nothing coincidental in the occurrences and I'm just seeing patterns of things that really have no meaning or connection. But still, I search for meaning in them because I find it hard to believe there isn't meaning. All of this started to occur during a time of great stress stress for me, and I started to wonder if these coincidences were just signposts that things needed to be altered somewhat.
The kicker moment for me was when I watched a random movie, Akeelah and the Bee, that Robert rented from Netflix. In the movie there was this quote that stuck with me. The next day, I went into work where a coworker of mine was working on some web layouts for a client up in NY. Out of the blue, he turns to me and reads aloud a quote that the NY client sent to him.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." (Marianne Williamson)
I nearly fainted because it was the same quote from Akeelah and the Bee.
I know it may seem minor, but there were so many strange coincidences that I felt there had to be meaning...
I managed to change some things to reduce the stress and it seems that the coincidences have died down. (Although a new one popped up today.) I wonder what other people make of coincidences? Is there a reason for them or are we just observing normal patterns?

Some Thoughts on Coincidence
Deep in your mind you knew there was something in your life that was out of sync. This coincidence merely brought to your attention that something so you could actively participate in change that needed to take place.
